Wellness Counseling
No matter who we are, life gives us challenges!
No matter how loving and great your family and friends are, you may not always feel understood. It might be difficult to even verbalize what’s going on inside because you are unsure yourself. Managing your mood and relationships may seem more and more like a battle you’re too exhausted to handle on your own even if you had the tools to do so.
You do not need to be in a crisis to benefit from counseling. Even the “wounded well” person can benefit from seeking professional help.
You need someone who is your champion and yet objective.
The problem is most people who seek help turn to a family member or friend. Unfortunately, your family and friends may not always be there in the way you want or need. You might even find some are impatient, lack understanding, or say things that hurt. They may be well-meaning and want to help and might even give advice, but they are not equipped to help and are probably too close to the situation to be objective. You need someone who is your champion and yet objective. Someone who can listen, assess, and guide you through your situation. Admitting you need help is not always easy. And it isn’t easy to find counselor you feel comfortable with, who you trust, and who understands your situation.

Easy to learn techniques
NLP is a set of skills, techniques, and strategies that are based on the fundamental dynamics between the mind (neuro) and language (linguistic) and how their interplay affects our body and behavior (programming). Neuro Linguistic Programming
trauma
Every one of us must face the difficulties and trials of life. It might have occurred early in your life or at some point you survived a traumatic event you haven’t been able to shake.
It has been established that even small, low intensity events that occur frequently create a cumulative and harmful effect. Perhaps you were raised in a chaotic environment or by punitive parents where you felt neglected or unwanted. You probably find yourself struggling with self-deprecating thoughts and a poor self-image or self-awareness.
If you experienced or were the witness to recurring physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, you know the impact that can have on a person. You might find yourself having persistent and often distorted negative beliefs about yourself or others and find yourself with trauma-related emotions such as fear, anger, guilt, shame, or self-destructive or reckless behavior. If you don’t want to go on living in this state, it’s time to heal and move on with your life!

Helping Children Deal with Loss
Educational Program designed for adults
Parents and those who work with children know how profoundly difficult it is to see a child hurt. But the pain our children experience isn’t always physical and can’t be resolved with antiseptics and gauze or a quick trip to the emergency room to set a broken bone.
Life events pose many confusing and difficult circumstances for which children are ill-equipped to navigate. Losses such as being bullied, the death of a pet, a friend from cancer, an overdose, suicide, or a car accident shakes their world.
Those who stand with them are impacted, also. Adults want to do something to help. They want to know what to say that might make a difference.

At a loss when trying to help children deal with grief?
The vast majority of parents, teachers, and those who work with children find themselves at a loss when trying to help children deal with any grieving experience that impacts them.
Often adults fear saying the wrong thing. They don’t know what’s going through the child’s mind and are unsure how they should respond to the child’s emotions or questions. They want to provide a safe place for the child to share what he/she is going through but don’t know how to do it themselves or exactly who to turn to for help.
Help children effectively deal with their broken heart.
This 4-week educational program is designed to teach parents and others who work with children, the necessary tools to help children effectively deal with their broken hearts, no matter the loss they are facing. This action-oriented program provides concrete suggestions of things to say and do to acknowledge the loss and help the grieving child in a healthy way.
