This story came to mind recently when for some reason, I couldn’t prevent my feet from smelling worse than they have ever smelled. Now dirty feet have a habit of giving off a bad oder granted but . . . I shower every morning yet with this incident, I went in and washed my feet extra times and especially before I went to bed.
After three days of struggling with this issue, I began to look for the source of the cause. It had to be my Crocs that were creating the problem so, I took them into the tub to give them a good scrub with soap and water only to discover in the tread of the soles was some dried dog poo. Every time I slipped them off at the door they were still close enough to spread that pungent odor making me think the whole world was stinking.
To resolve a problem, you must get to the core of the matter.
Grief is kind of like that. When a person has faced a difficult situation and a loss plows through their life, it colors everything in their world. The whole world just stinks. Everything they have been taught about how to get through their circumstances doesn’t seem to bring relief.
But there is hope.

Editorial Comment: As transparent as this article is, the dog poo is not the only blame for Bob’s pungent (give me a break, stinky) smelling feet. Limburger cheese might just be a welcome relief. I will leave it at that. A wife must put up with these things. Bobbie
